Polishing Technician - Greater Seattle Area

We are hiring a crew of Concrete Polishers in the Greater Seattle area. Concrete Polishing experience IS required. You must be able to adapt quickly AND BE TEAM ORIENTED.

Primary responsibility is to work under the direction of the Polishing Foreman and help provide a world class product to our customers.

Job Summary:

Duties include but not limited to performing a variety of tasks involving manual labor for flooring construction projects:

  • Polish concrete
  • Carry materials/tools
  • Job site clean up
  • Mix materials
  • Inventory of hardware and supplies
  • Control traffic passing near, in, or around work zones
  • Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
  • Stack, handle and inventory lumber, rebar, and other materials
  • Place rake and vibrate concrete
  • Apply and mix filler, putty, and other materials
  • Remove paint, lacquer, and other finishes from wood products and sand rough spots to prepare surfaces for finishing
  • Set-up pumps, line systems, compressors, or generators to provide power for tools, machinery, or equipment, or move materials, such as concrete
  • Assist in planning work schedules, determine manpower levels, material quantities, equipment requirements, etc.
  • Preparation of small repairs
  • Read and understand product data sheets
  • Understand safety policies
  • Point & Patch finish
  • Saw cutting, chipping, mixing, and repairing patching
  • Ensure construction finishes are correct
  • Availability for night, weekend and holiday shifts is a must.
  • Communicate well with others and has a positive attitude
  • Adhere to HTI Polymer mission statement
  • Follow HTI’s safety rules and policies
  • Routinely check all equipment and cords for safety
  • Clean appearance and show up ready to work
  • Asks for help when needed and raise hand when a problem is discovered

Polishing Foreman - Greater Seattle Area

We are seeking an EXPERIENCED Foreman for our Concrete Polishing business in the Greater Seattle area. Concrete Polishing experience IS required. You must be able to proficiently run a 6–8-man crew, report to supervisor daily completed tasks, adapt quickly AND BE TEAM ORIENTED.

Primary responsibility is to work under the direction of the superintendent and help them provide a world class product to our customers. You will lead job-specific duties and deliver quality work in a safe and profitable manner.

Job Summary:

Duties include but not limited to performing a variety of tasks involving manual labor for flooring construction projects. You will also work with the Polishing Technician on the following:

  • Must have knowledge and ability to test concrete hardness and adapt that knowledge to a plan for diamond grit usage to achieve a finish acceptable to the customer
  • Must have the knowledge and ability to read and understand construction documents, plans, and data sheets
  • Polish concrete
  • Carry materials/tools
  • Job site clean up
  • Mix materials
  • Inventory of hardware and supplies
  • Control traffic passing near, in, or around work zones
  • Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards

  • Prepare and complete all needed paperwork for jobsite to include payroll, safety, pre task plan, hazard analysis and job walk completion

Warehouse Assistant - Addison, Illinois

We specialize in floor preparation and application processes for new floors and fixing ineffective floors or replacing old epoxy flooring. Our integrated approach ensures we can protect our client’s valuable assets and create ideal work environments for the safety of our client’s employees and specific business needs.

We have an immediate position available at our Addison, Illinois warehouse. This position is non-benefit eligible, under 30 hours a week and is considered part-time. Applicants must be able to pass both a drug screen and a background check. A valid driver's license is required. Obtaining a DOT certification after hire will be required.

Job Summary:

You are the sole point person at this location. It is critical to our business that you are prepared to receive deliveries and can stage material for pickups while understanding the timelines associated with preparation and execution. This position supports supply chain through onsite management of the warehouse including, but not limited to, inventory, pickups, deliveries, material staging, equipment storage, and general housekeeping.

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
    • Required workdays are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday; Monday work shift is an 8-hour, full day
    • Wednesday and Friday work shifts can be arranged with the department manager. HTI’s standard hours of operation are from 7:00 am – 4:00 pm and we are looking for the right candidate that can support a flexible work schedule within those guidelines. Occasional flexibility may be required
    • Dependability is critical. Delivery and pick-ups are contingent upon your availability.
  • Manage local pickups and deliveries as needed
  • Pick and pack orders including pallet setup, wrapping, labelling, and staging from existing inventory
  • Receive, sort, and log all materials returning to the warehouse including proper job and project manager labeling and store in designated areas
    • Document incoming inventory returns and forward to warehouse manager for tracking and accounting
    • Maintain material inventory including twice monthly physical counts of material returns
    • Ensure compliance with SOPs
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse through sorting and placement of materials and equipment within space, shelving, racks, and bins
    • Identify and document aging or obsolete materials
  • Document vehicles, trucks, trailers, equipment, and machinery entering or leaving warehouse for repairs
    • Schedule repairs as needed after discussion with Safety & Compliance Officer
    • Assist Safety & Compliance Officer in ensuring vehicles are maintained for DOT certification
    • Maintenance of company owned equipment onsite, or assistance in coordination with local repair facilities
    • Maintain servicing and licensure requirements for all equipment (i.e., OSHA, Forklift, etc.)
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of company vehicles as needed
    • Assist in management of vehicle consumable inventory, ensure proper levels of inventory are maintained to support the field (i.e., report vehicle problem to manger, keep inventory of available consumable products)
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements, Qualifications, & Skills

  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision or direction

Position Reports to: Warehouse Manager in Woodinville, Washington
